FAQ
Rust / Oxidation:
Paint / coat as soon as possible for best results, or protect with a product like ACF-50 (anti corrosion fluid). Our complimentary rust prevention process lasts up to 1 week.
Bearings / moving parts:
Glass particles will clog your bearings and moving parts. Please remove your bearings.
Holes / Channels:
WE DO NOT CLOSE OR CHECK AND COVER HOLES / CHANNELS. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Glass and water go everywhere – We recommend that you stuff openings with rags, seal with high quality gasket maker and cover with hard plastic cut to shape. NOTE water / glass may still squeeze past your rags.
Cleaning Media (glass & water):
Glass media and water may be left behind after we are done. Thoroughly inspect your parts prior to reassembly and remove any water / glass media that is left behind.
Rubber / Silicon:
VBCT is safe for most rubber / silicon components. However we take no responsibility if your parts are damaged.
Size of parts:
VBCT cleaning cabinet can accommodate anything up to 450 mm to 450 mm and a total height of 600 mm if the items are slender.
Parts must be light enough to maneuver by hand easily inside the cabinet.
Note: Large and complex components can take substantially longer to clean.
Hard to reach areas:
While we try our best for optimal cleaning, some hard to reach areas may not get adequately cleaned.
Engines / Large components:
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND COMPLETELY STRIPPING ENGINES AND LARGE / COMPLEX COMPONENTS COMPLETELY PRIOR TO BRINGING TO VBCT.
Job info:
It is your responsibility to ensure that your job card is completed accurately when you bring in your components.
Double check your contact info and the number of components and description of components shown on your job card.
